TOWN CENTER RULES AND REGULATIONS
The VillageWalk Town Center (including the Fitness Center, Library, Tennis, Basketball and Bocce Courts and the Computer Room) is for the residents and guests of VillageWalk. The Town Center facilities provide for multi-purpose uses. The Town Manager and the Activities Director are responsible for assigning specific rooms and spaces for each approved and permitted group activity. The Town Manager and the Activities Director are responsible for facility room rental. Requests for the use of the Town Center must be pre-approved in writing by the Manager or Activities Director. A deposit will be required for all group activities. Residents using any area of the Town Center are responsible for leaving it clean after use. No Town Center property, furniture or common equipment of any kind shall be removed from the premises. Radios, CD players, tape decks are not allowed in the Town center area unless used during a supervised recreation activity or private rental. Bicycles, golf carts, scooters, skateboards, in-line skates, or roller-skates are not allowed in the Town Center, the pool area, Town Center sidewalks or on the tennis courts. All bicycles are to be parked in the bike rack areas.

Hours: The Town Center hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. These hours may be extended with the advanced approval of the Town Manager or Activities Director. The hours of operation for any rentals within the Town Center shall be administered by the Town Manager or the Activities Director. The Fitness Center is accessible 24 hours daily with the appropriate key.
Attire: Appropriate attire including shirt and shoes must be worn in the Town Center at all times. Bathing suits are not allowed. Exceptions may be approved prior to an activity by the Town Manager or Activities Director

Children: Children under the age of thirteen (13) and under must be accompanied by an adult while in the Town Center.
Pets: No pets are allowed in the Town Center, excepting only, dogs that are specifically trained to, and are actually being used to, assist a visually impaired owner, resident, or guest.

Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the Town Center except during planned supervised recreational activities or private rentals, for which alcoholic beverages have been specifically approved by the Town Manager or Activities Director.

Smoking: No smoking in any of the Town Center rooms or Fitness Center.

Conduct: Abuse of the Town Center amenities will constitute grounds for immediate restriction of the use of the facilities. Owners and tenants are liable for damage caused indirectly or directly by themselves and/ or their guests to any of the amenities at the Town Center. The Board of Directors of the Association, upon the recommendation of the Town Manager, have the right to suspend the use and privileges of the common elements of any owner or tenants for violation of the rules and regulations, as it deems necessary.
SPECIFIC TOWN CENTER LIBRARY AND COMPUTER LAB RULES
- At times, there will be classes held in the Library and Computer Lab, and at those times it will be closed to the public. Please consult the calendar so that you are aware and can plan according.
- Every resident is required to sign in if they wish to use the computers. Please sign in under the proper time. The official clock is on the wall. Any resident who fails to sign in for a specific time will be removed from the computer when a resident with a reserved time arrives for his/her session, or when the next resident arrives to use the computer. If you do not sign up, you will be removed if others are waiting
- Each resident is allowed one hour of computer time. If no one is waiting, then residents are asked to sign in again when their time is up. Residents cannot sign up for two or three consecutive sessions. If there are residents waiting to use the computers, we ask that residents relinquish their computer when their allotted time is up
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- No food or beverages are permitted in the Library and Computer Lab.
- There will be a charge of 10 cents per page on all printed material, whether or not printing was intended. Please pay for printed material at the Town Center Manager’s office.
- Residents using the computers are presumed to have knowledge of computers and the programs they contain. The staff will troubleshoot problems, and help out if necessary, especially concerning printing problems: however, staff is not available to teach programs nor computer knowledge on any structured level.
SPECIFIC FITNESS CENTER RULES

The Fitness Center is for residents and house guests of VillageWalk only. Because this is an unsupervised facility with key access 24 hours a day, each household must sign a waiver of liability when they receive their personal key for entry access. There will be only one key per household. A fee will be charged to replace a lost key.

All users are required to bring a workout towel. Please use the towel to wipe perspiration from yourself. Disinfectant towels are available to clean equipment after use.

Shirts or tank tops, shorts or sweat pants must be worn at all times. Swimming suits cannot be worn alone. Closed toe rubber soled shoes must be worn at all times. No street shoes or boots. No flip-flops or aqua shoes.

No children under the age of 13 are allowed in the fitness center. Children 13 to15 may use the equipment under the direct supervision of their parent and after taking a fitness training session with the VillageWalk Certified Personal Trainer. Children 16 and older may use the equipment without direct adult supervision.

It is recommended that you should consult your physician before starting any exercise program. A medical check-up and stress test prior to beginning is encouraged.

Read all equipment instructions before usage, or schedule an appointment with a personal trainer.

There is a time limit of 30 minutes on all cardio equipment while people are waiting.

All dumbbells must be racked after use. Do not drop or bang free weights or machine weights.

Plastic spill-proof water bottles are permitted in exercise areas. Other drinks or food are not permitted.

Removal of equipment including weights from the Fitness Room is not allowed

All problems, equipment or otherwise, should be reported in writing to the Town Manager’s office.
